Find My Roommate

To view room/suite information:

  1. Visit the STUDENT tab of mycats.gcsu.edu Under the PAWS Links section, select "New and Returning Student Menu."
  2. Select "University Housing Menu."
  3. Select "Find My Roommate" and select desired term.

Please Note:
Room assignments were completed in the order in which they were received. Based on space, in some cases, we were unable to accommodate roommate requests.

College provides a unique opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and experience diversity. Social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace make it very easy to "research" your roommate before you make contact. Remember that you cannot truly know a person from their profile alone. Please avoid pre-conceived notions about someone you haven't met in person; they may be equally nervous about meeting you.

Make sure to give your new roommate a call to coordinate what each person will contribute to the room. Check out the Roommate Agreement (doc) to help build understanding of how to live with your roommate and divide up room chores.

Occupancy of our halls is quite high which makes it difficult for University Housing to make room changes at this time. There will be an open room change period after school has begun based on availability of space.
