Work Life Balance Initiative
Work-Life Balance Purpose Statement - The work life balance task force was created to discover the challenges faced by GCSU faculty and staff in balancing work and life. The task force works with the premise that a great work environment exists in a community where people want to live and thrive and where employees want to come to work, enjoy the people with whom they work, embrace and advance the GCSU mission and vision including its commitment to diversity, have pride in their work, are treated fairly and trusted by their supervisors, are engaged and active participants in the GCSU community, and are recognized and celebrated for their contributions. The goal of the Work Life Task Force is to foster such an environment at GCSU. In order to maintain it's ability to recruit and retain an outstanding and diverse faculty and staff, the Work Life Task Force will study and seek to improve a variety of quality of work-life issues including:
