To be considered for admission to an undergraduate program, applicants must document the following:*
- Successful completion of the equivalent of a U.S. college-preparatory high school program.
- Transfer applicants with 30 or more earned semester credit hours must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (out of a 4.0 grading scale). Georgia College's International Education Center will review your educational documents and equate your previously completed coursework to U.S. grade equivalencies.
- Completion of the College Preparatory Curriculum requirements for applicants who graduated from a high school located inside the United States or inside the jurisdiction of the United States educational system.
- Eligibility to continue enrollment at a current or previous academic institution (i.e. not on academic exclusion, suspension or dismissal).
- English language proficiency through one of the following ways:**
- Official TOEFL score report with a minimum score of 61 on the Internet-based test, 173 on the computer-based test, or 500 on the paper-based test.
- Official SAT score report with a minimum verbal score of 440
- Official ACT score report with a minimum English score of 17
- Official IELTS score report with a minimum score of 6.0
- Sufficient financial support as specified on the Declaration of Finances.

** Undergraduate applicants who meet the minimum TOEFL/IELTS requirements above but who score below 79 (Internet-based TOEFL), 213 (computer-based TOEFL), 550 (paper-based TOEFL) or 6.5 (IELTS) are eligible for admission, but will be required to take an ESL class concurrent with other courses during the first semester of enrollment.
Graduate
To be considered for admission to a graduate program, applicants must document the following:*
- Successful completion of the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree.
- Minimum grade point average and test scores required for the graduate program. Program requirements vary; please refer to the specific program requirements in the graduate catalog. Georgia College's International Education Center will review your educational documents and equate your previously completed coursework to U.S. grade equivalencies.
- Eligibility to continue enrollment at a current or previous academic institution (i.e. not on academic exclusion, suspension or dismissal).
- English language proficiency through one of the following ways:
- Sufficient financial support as specified on the Declaration of Finances.
