Casa Mondo

What is Casa Mondo

A vital link to the liberal arts experience, Casa Mondo (or "World House") is one of several Residential Learning Communities at Georgia College designed to integrate academic learning and community living. Casa Mondo brings together students from all corners of the world in a unique living environment at the university.

Through daily interactions in the community and special cross-cultural programming, students who live in Casa Mondo learn first hand about different world perspectives and their roles as global citizens.

Residents agree to share their room with a student from another cultural background and agree to be active participants in the community's programs. Past residents have even had the opportunity to visit their roommates in their home countries!

Casa Mondo is located in Sanford Hall. Students interested in Casa Mondo should request more information and an application form from the Department of University Housing. Casa Mondo is open to GC students of all academic levels, from freshman to graduate.

Why Live in Casa Mondo
It's an opportunity to make friends from all over the world and learn about other cultures, practice other languages and ease the adjustment to college life, increase your understanding of world issues, enhance your liberal arts education, and, in short, have fun!
