John is the coordinator of leadership programs in the Office of Academic Engagement, where his primary responsibilty is coordinating the Leadership Certificate Program and the Georgia Education Mentorship. He also serves as the staff advisor to The Corinthian: the Journal of Student Research at GCSU and assists with the planning and implementation of the annual GCSU Student Research Conference. In addition to his role in Academic Engagement, John is a part-time instructor in the GCSU Outdoor Education program.

Ms. Weaver is the graduate assistant to the Leadership Certificate Program and Georgia Education Mentorship in the Office of Academic Engagement. She assists with the planning and implementation of these programs, including planning events, facilitating regular contact with students, maintaining student records, and developing leadership curriculum for undergraduate classes.
Ms. Weaver is also a Masters student in Kinesiology with a specialization in Outdoor Education and plans to pursue a doctorate in Education after completing her degree at GCSU. Ultimately, she hopes to work as a professor in a college or university setting.
