Our Core Programs
Emerging Leaders allows students to clarify personal values, explore professional interests, and learn about opportunities to get involved at GC and in the surrounding community.
The Leadership Certificate Program provides students the opportunity to learn the principles of effective leadership and to acquire hands-on experience beyond the classroom.
GEM represents a one-of-a-kind partnership between Georgia College and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce in which students are matched with senior Georgia leaders for a 1:1 year-long mentorship.
The Inspire! Student Leadership Forum offers invites notable business leaders, nonprofit executives, and public officials to the university to share leadership lessons with Georgia College students.
This engaging and interactive summer study abroad program combines classroom instruction with high profile guest lectures, visits and excursions, as well as practical training elements in the area of goal finding, human rights, mediation, dispute resolution, social responsibility/peace building, and intercultural negotiation skills.
Our Collaborative Programs
Georgia College offers a range of specialized leadership-development opportunities, some of which have been certified to satisfy a students' GC Journeys requirements.
The Georgia College ThinkTank, located in the historic Carl Vinson House, provides infrastructural and material support to students engaged in research and service related to leadership, mentorship, civic engagement, social justice and inclusion, strategic thought, and global citizenship. The ThinkTank provides incubation space for student practicum projects, as well as a flexible, collaborative environment for student leadership work.
