Searching and Checking Out Reserves:

Click Search Course Reserves.

Search by the name of the Instructor, the department, or the course name to see a list of materials on Reserve.

Request material by instructor name and title of material
-
A valid GCSU Bobcat Card is required to check out reserves.
-
Five reserves may be checked out at one time.

Accepted:

Books:
-
Library owned books
-
Personally owned books
-
Photocopies: Articles and Chapters
-
An article with full citation (per 20 students) from a single issue of a periodical title
-
One each of 3 articles (per 20 students) with full citations from a single volume of a periodical title
-
A book chapter with full citation, and number of publication's pages
-
Sample tests, quizzes, and lecture notes
-
Media:
-
VHS, CD, CD-Rom, DVD owned by GCSU library
-
Commercially produced DVD, VHS, CD, or CD-Rom in original retail packaging.

Copy of professor's lecture, labeled with professor's name and date of lecture.
Not Accepted:
To comply with Fair Use, GCSU Library doesnot accept reserve materials borrowed from other libraries, downloads of electronically available materials, and material printed from internet sites.
Reserve Form is required to process reserve materials.
All reserves are removed at the end of each semester and returned to faculty. Statistics for reserve circulation can be provided upon request.
