Requesting Materials for Purchase
Primary responsibility for the selection of library materials is a collaborative effort between GCSU faculty and library liaisons.
Requests by faculty should be sent through the appropriate departmental. The library liaison monitors the allocated budget and provides periodic reports to the department about the status of funding. Library liaisons also send current reviews, along with additional recommendations, to assist faculty in the selection process. Individual GCSU faculty and staff may also request materials by using our request form.
All requests are subject to approval by the Collection Development Team of the GCSU Library.
