GEORGIA COLLEGE MUSEUM
Fostering an exploration of interdisciplinary topics through the visual arts
In conjunction with Georgia College's liberal arts mission, the Georgia College Museum offers faculty, students, staff and the Middle Georgia community opportunities for the exploration of interdisciplinary topics through visual arts exhibitions and educational programs. Additionally, the museum's programs seek to provide an academically engaging and culturally rich learning environment to expand the boundaries of the traditional classroom. It is also home to the Flannery O'Connor Room, which features a permanent exhibit space honoring the life and the work of Georgia College's most famed alumna, Flannery O'Connor.
The Georgia College Museum also houses the Patience Russell Peterson room, which is a fully-equipped multi-media education room. This room is available for special occasions, lectures and programs which may be rented for public use..
Georgia College Museum is free and open to the public Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Georgia College museum will be closed on May 25-27 for Memorial Day.
