GC LITC Guidelines
Public Computer Use Guidelines
The LITC's public access computers are intended primarily for curriculum-related research use. Non-academic uses are discouraged. Consideration of other computer users is encouraged. Limit search time on computers to less than one hour when others are waiting. Cooperation in adhering to this policy and showing respect for fellow patrons is appreciated.
It is a violation of GC's policy to create, display, or transmit obscene materials, as defined in section 16-12-80 (b) of the Official Code of Georgia, unless dissemination of the material is permitted, as provided in Section 16-12-80. The LITC is compliant with university policies.

- Access to Online Materials
The Internet/World Wide Web consists of a global and highly diverse user population, and varies widely in information content and quality. The LITC serves the university community and does not censor access to materials or protect users from information they may find offensive. Parents or guardians of minor children must assume responsibility for their children's use of the Internet or any other information provided in the LITC.
