GCSU LITC Guidelines

Food, Drink and Tobacco Guidelines

These guidelines are designed to ensure a clean study and work environment for Library and Instructional Technology Center (LITC) users, to aid in the preservation and care of collections and computer equipment, and to maintain a pest-free environment.

• Use of any tobacco products is prohibited in the LITC.

• Consumption of food within the public areas of the LITC is permitted in the Atrium, at Books and Brew, inside the Graduate Lounge, and the six study rooms located on the first floor. Beverages in LITC approved containers* are permitted on the second and third floor. Events providing refreshments may be held in the Atrium or in the Books and Brew area.

*LITC approved containers are travel mugs with spill-proof lids. Styrofoam and paper cups, cans, soda bottles are not approved.

Books and Brew has approved mugs for purchase.
