LITC Laptop Loan Policy
The Georgia College Library and Instructional Technology Center has 13 laptops on reserve at the Circulation desk for use by Georgia College students, faculty and staff. These laptops may be checked out for a period of up to four (4) hours. The laptops must remain inside the library's security gate. The laptops must be returned to the Circulation Desk at least 15 minutes before the library closes. See the library hours webpage for closing times.

- Loan Periods
- Laptops can be borrowed for a two (2) hour period.
- Laptops can be renewed one time.
- Only one laptop will be charged out per user.
- All laptops are due back before the Circulation Desk closes. (15 minutes before the library closes.)
- There are no overnight loans.
- Laptops must remain inside the library's security gate.
- Laptop Usage
- Any documents created or modified with the laptop will be deleted when the laptop is returned. To retain any documents, please make sure to save them to removable media such as a CD or USB flash drive. ZIP Drives and Floppy Drives are not available for the laptop computers.
- Printing is available from the laptops and can be picked up in the Library's Copy Room.
