eBooks
You can access the library's eContent 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Finding eBooks:
You can find eBooks two ways.
Option I : GC Library Catalog
- Choose the KEYWORD SEARCH option.
- Enter your search terms in the boxes provided; include "eBook" as a search term. Then click "Go" to perform search.
- Select the title of the book you are interested in viewing.
- Select "E-Resource," and click on the link.
- View the e-Book.
Option II: Galileo Database
- Access the Galileo Database via the GC Library Homepage, located under "Research."
- Click the tab for "Browse by Type."
- Click on "Book, E-Books and Book Reviews."
- Locate "eBooks on EBSCOhost" and click.
- View the e-Book.
Reading e-Books: Once you locate the book you want to view, click "eBook Full Text" on the left-hand side. Turn pages using the left and right arrows on the bottom of the page. You can also move between chapters using the table of contents on the left-hand side.
Off Campus Access:
You'll need to know the GALILEO password.
