Hours and Services
Hours
Special Collections is open to researchers Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and by appointment during regular university sessions. (Research schedules during intersession may vary.) Since our staff is small, variations in the schedule are sometimes necessary; therefore, patrons are encouraged to call the office to make an appointment for research.
Access
Research in most units of Special Collections is open to the public. Because research in the Flannery O'Connor Collection is restricted, we ask that you check with the staff before making plans for your O'Connor-related research trip. All research is done on-site with assistance provided by the department staff.
Reference Service
Researchers who are unable to visit Special Collections may submit inquiries via an online reference form, standard mail, telephone, or e-mail. Special Collections staff will be able to spend a limited amount of time researching your question. Staff may also be able to refer researchers to other resources on and off campus. Our small staff, however, cannot undertake extensive research.
