Acquisitions
Acquisitions coordinates the selection, purchase, and receipt of books, serials, audio-visual materials, electronic resources, microforms, supplies, and equipment for Georgia College Library and Instructional Technology Center.
Collection development is a collaborative effort between faculty and library liaisons. Acquisitions serves as the primary contact point for faculty selectors and departmental liaisons.
Requests for purchase should be forwarded by departmental liaisons to the appropriate library liaisons. Departmental and library liaisons are listed at the following link:

Requests may also be submitted by using our request form.
All requests are reviewed for approval by the Collection Development Team of the GC Library.
