Tenure-Track Mathematics Position
The Department of Mathematics at Georgia College & State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. A Ph.D. in mathematics education (with at least 18 graduate hours of coursework in mathematics) or a Ph.D. in mathematics (with at least 18 graduate hours of coursework in mathematics education) is required, and the area of expertise is open. The Department of Mathematics seeks a colleague engaged in scholarship, service, and especially teaching and who is committed to the mission of a public liberal arts university. Excellence in teaching, scholarly activity, and service are requirements for promotion and tenure. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Employment will begin Aug. 1, 2014.
