Andrea Mueller, Soprano and Roswell native, holds the Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She earned the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in vocal performance with a minor in vocal pedagogy from Louisiana State University. Dr. Mueller taught voice, vocal methods, and diction at Louisiana State University and has served on the music faculty of the Johnson Ferry Conservatory for the Arts since 2005. Additionally, Dr. Mueller has taught in both the public and private school systems, teaching music theory, general music and high school chorus. She spends her summers serving on the faculty of the Summer Institute for the Gifted at Emory University where she teaches a course in Musical Theatre and directs the musical production. As a performer, Dr. Mueller has worked with directors such as, Patricia O’Neill, Peter Webster, Ned Canty, Sandra Bernhard, Dugg McDonough, and Michael Nutter in roles including: Pamina and Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Little Red in Little Red Riding Hood, Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica, Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Fire in L’Enfant et les sortileges, Mrs. Gleaton in Susannah, Mrs. Gobineau in The Medium, Cathleen in Riders to the Sea, and Musetta in La Boheme.
