Adrian Gnam

AdrianAdrian Gnam – Lecturer of Oboe and Conductor of the Georgia Southern Symphony; former principal oboist of the Cleveland Orchestra and the American Symphony. He has guest conducted major orchestras in the United States, Brazil, Japan, Italy, Yugoslavia, Mexico, Honduras, Romania and Russia. He is Director of the International Conductors Workshop and Competition and is Conductor Emeritus of the Macon Symphony Orchestra. He is also a faculty member at Mercer University and Wesleyan College. Maestro Gnam is a former Music Director of the National Endowment for the Arts and was Music Director of the Eugene, Midland and Tuscaloosa Symphonies. He can be heard on Decca, Epic Columbia, Vanguard, Century Advent, Telarc, Opus One, Heritage, Piper, Bravo and Albany recordings.
