Program Options for the RN-MSN Program


 This degree option provides educational mobility for the
 experienced RN, who is an associate  degree or diploma
 graduate. Students complete required BSN-level courses
 and the MSN bridge courses in the first academic year, then
 enter the MSN course sequence in either Adult Health Nursing
 or Nursing Administration.


 Adult Health Nursing:  Clinical Nurse Specialist


Program of Study (.doc)

Purpose: To prepare graduates for enacting the role of the
educator in academic, staff  development, or patient/family
educational settings. A Nursing Education Certificate is
available for students who wish to enroll in two additional
courses related to education.

Purpose: To prepare graduates for enacting the role of educator in

Nursing Administration:  Healthcare Informatics Role

Purpose: To prepare graduates to manage and process data,
information, and knowledge to enhance health care delivery
outcomes and support education and research. Graduates
are eligible for the ANCC certification examination in

Purpose: To prepare graduates for effective administration of
nursing services which enhance cost effective, quality health
care outcomes. Graduates are eligible for the ANCC certification
examination in nursing administration.
