About Lake Laurel Lodge
Lake Laurel Lodge was built in the 1940 for the use and enjoyment of Georgia College students, staff, and faculty.  It's rustic charm is enhanced by its location overlooking Lake Laurel. This clubhouse-like lodge is home to outdoor education academic classes and Outdoor Center programs. Equipped with state of the art technology, a large central gathering room is a great place to begin and end a program.  The lodge offers rustic accommodation for up to 16 people.  Its large screened in porch joins a deck equipped with picnic tables and a grill and its kitchen provide a great opportunity for group meals.

About The Outdoor Center Cabin
The Outdoor Center cabin was originally built to house a custodian for East Campus. However, the need for oversight of programs and facilities on the site ended when outdoor education academic programs were re-located to East Campus and the cabin became the administrative home of the Outdoor Center. A large patio surrounds three sides of the cabin and serves as the starting point for  challenge course, climbing, backpacking, camping, orienteering, and caving programs.

About The Adventure Center
The Adventure Center is located on a hill overlooking Lake Laurel, surrounded by mixed-forest and bordered by a small stream on the south border.  The main activity area is bisected by an old logging road and smaller foot paths deliver participants to activity areas on the site. The facility is designed to accommodate a range of ages and abilities, and enable us to create programs that are unique to every group. The YURT serves as an indoor facility at the site and can be used for group development activities, reflection, or a cozy place to wait out the rain.

About The Water Shack
The Water Shack (a.k.a. The Craft Shack) was built in the 1940s and was originally used for arts and crafts for academic workshops, camp, and community programs.  Now it is the heart of our water-based programs, and where we manage all of our storage and maintenance of water equipment. Preparations for water-based activities take place at the Water Shack and the adjacent boat storage racks that house flat-water canoes, whitewater canoes, and sea kayaks.
