Outdoor Center Staff
Outdoor Center at Georgia College staff are faculty, staff, alumni, undergraduate and graduate students, or professional vendors who are contracted to design and deliver a program to meet client needs. All staff complete ongoing training and development to be approved by outdoor education faculty for working at the Outdoor Center and our professional vendors have a long standing history with us. A program is assigned a lead facilitator when a contract is finalized who will work with the client sponsor to design the program and with assistant facilitators to develop a delivery plan. The number of staff assigned to a program depends on the number of participants and the types of activities and our staff/participant ratios are accredited by The Association for Experiential Education. Often unpaid technicians who are students in our outdoor education academic programs are available to assist with logistics and equipment.
