Family Day

Family Day will be held on

Saturday, October 18, 2014.

Be our guest!

Georgia College invites you to Family Day on Saturday, October 18, 2014.  This will be a chance for your family to visit your student and to sample a bit of campus life at Georgia College!

Family Day is an exceptional opportunity for parents and extended family members to get to know their student's friends and others. It is for all parents, siblings, and extended family of all Georgia College undergraduate students.

In addition to learning about Georgia College and seeing lively and interesting presentations, you will be able to enjoy museum exhibits, art shows, and tours of special campus facilities.  With each paid registration, you will also receive a ticket to Milledgeville's Deep Roots Festival, an annual downtown streetscape of arts, crafts, and music.

2014 Schedule of Events (pdf)

Registration for Family Day must be received by Friday, October 3, 2014, in order to secure a place for you and your family.  There is a $25 per guest fee (no charge for GC students with paid registration) which will cover food, materials, festival tickets, and more.  Registration is required to participate in campus tours, scheduled meals, and other Family Day scheduled activities.  As with any other day at Georgia College, if you want to just come to town to visit with your student for the day and not participate in scheduled events - please feel free to do so!
