Race, Ethnicity and Gender Concentration
A student is required to take 6 hours in Sociology, at least 3 hours in the Humanities, at least 3 hours in the Social Sciences, at least 3 hours in courses related to Gender, and at least 3 hours in History. Additionally, the student’s program of study will include at least one course that addresses issues in each of the following areas: African Studies, African-American Studies, Latin American Studies and Women’s Studies.
