Planetarium Overview
GC is proud to present the GC planetarium, where students can view digital simulations of the sky in an immersive 20 ft diameter dome view with guides, labels, and motion. The planetarium also has the ability to display full dome show content. This Digitarium Alpha 2 projector has all the abilities of a computer vs. the slide projector views of the past.
Did you know that the GC planetarium offers free shows to the community? The planetarium is open to the public whenever the GC Natural History Museum is open. Simply go to Herty 101 (down the hall from the planetarium) to request a show. Check the shows page for a description of the shows available
