Advisory Committee


Members of the Advisory Committee met in June 2006 with the consultants to initiate the study process and determine the logistics and details of the study, including the content of the faculty market survey. Their responsibilities follow:

  • Provide a faculty perspective on the methodology and processes for ascertaining faculty concerns and input.
  • Work with Pappas Consulting to communicate the process and findings of the faculty salary study.
  • Review preliminary reports presented by our consultants at prescribed phases of the study and provide input.
  • Communicate with faculty within their units about the process and outcomes of the faculty salary survey.
  • Make recommendations to President Dorothy Leland about stipends for promotion consistent with other University System of Georgia institutions.
