Celebrating the United States Constitution, encouraging civic engagement, and increasing awareness of the supreme law of the land, the Georgia College Constitution Week committee puts together a series of events in September addressing a variety of relevant historical and contemporary constitutional questions. Consistent with the values and mission of Georgia College, the committee seeks to build a collaborative effort including faculty, staff, and students from each academic college and a variety of departments and disciplines. Constitution Day, observed on September 17 of each year, is integrated into campus activities in accordance with a federal government mandate.
