Student Night Auxiliary Patrol

Introduction

The Georgia College & State University Department of Public Safety is pleased to announce that the SNAP Program, Student Night Auxiliary Patrol, was re-instated during the Spring 2009 semester. The program enables students to patrol the campus via foot and golf carts and provide safety escorts to the university community during the evenings and at night. Anyone who is on or within the immediate proximity of the GCSU campus is encouraged to call the GCSU Department of Public Safety at (478) 445-4054 and ask for a safety escort if you will be walking within the downtown area. The service is FREE of charge and will be available most weeknights. Please feel free to call and ask for more details!

Geographical Limits

Escorts will be provided to and from all GCSU property with the exception of The Village at West Campus.  Escorts will not go west of Irwin St., north of Thomas St., east of Wayne St., or south of Franklin St.

Hours of Operation

Monday & Tuesday:                    8 p.m. – Midnight

Wednesday & Thursday:            8 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.
