Student Night Auxiliary Patrol
The Georgia College Department of Public Safety in partnership with the Georgia College Student Government Association is pleased to offer the university community the SNAP Program, Student Night Auxiliary Patrol. The program provides safety escorts to the university community during the evenings and late night hours. Anyone who is on or within the immediate proximity of the Georgia College campus is encouraged to submit a request for a safety escort by using the SNAP WebApp through their smart phone or computer. A request can also be made by calling the Georgia College Department of Public Safety at 478-445-SNAP (7627). The service is free of charge and is available every day of the week except Sunday, and scheduled holidays or campus closures.
Escorts will be provided to and from all Georgia College and adjacent property in Milledgeville with the exception of The Village at West Campus and Lake Laurel. Escorts will not go west of Irwin St., north of Thomas St., east of Wayne St., or south of Franklin St. Escorts can be provided to and from off campus residences that are within the above boundaries.
