Students are encouraged to contribute to the culture of engaged learning by participating in one or more Community-based Engaged Learning (C-bEL) experiences. C-bEL courses and co-curricular experiences provide students with the opportunity to apply classroom learning by collaborating with community partners.
Staff & Faculty
Faculty and staff are encouraged to contribute to the culture of engaged learning by participating in one or more of the project tiers. The ENGAGE project tiers support the development of structured and assessable Community-based Engaged Learning (C-bEL) experiences in academic and/or co-curricular settings. Application forms and deadlines are available on the GC intranet (Unify credentials required to access).
Community partners are crucial to the success of ENGAGE. If you represent a community organization or would like to partner with Georgia College to address a community need, please contact Julia Metzker, the ENGAGE director for more information.
To add your organization to our growing list of partners, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
