DegreeWorks is a Web-based tool to help students and advisors monitor a student's progress toward degree completion. DegreeWorks combines Georgia College's degree requirements and the coursework you have completed into an easy-to-read worksheet that helps you see how courses that you have completed count toward degree requirements, and that helps you see what courses and requirements you still need to complete.
All currently-enrolled undergraduate students who first attended Georgia College after fall 1998 and who are using the 2004-2006 or a later catalog to fulfill their degree requirements can use DegreeWorks to check their progress toward degree completion.
Student Log-in Instructions
- Log in to PAWS
- Select the Student & Financial Aid link
- Select Student Records
- Click on the DegreeWorks link
- Click on the Worksheet tab to view your information
Faculty and Advisor Log-in Instructions
To use DegreeWorks, log in to PAWS and then select the Faculty Services tab. Click on the Student Information Menu link, the DegreeWorks link, select the current term, submit, then enter the GCID (or do a student search), submit, click DegreeWorks icon. If you need to review another student you may click on the Find icon on the top left hand corner, a pop-up box will appear. You may search for students based on name, GCID, degree, major, minor, concentration and/or class. Once you have selected the variables for your search, click the search button. The students selected will appear in the space at the bottom of the pop-up box. You may accept all students in the selection, or use the click/uncheck button and check boxes by student names to load only those you wish to view. Click the OK button. If more than one student was selected in your search, use the drop-down box at the top of the screen to select the student record you want to view.
