Georgia College & State
University stands proud on its history and
traditions. The beauty of the front campus
along with the backdrop of historical buildings
has once again become the setting for GCSU's
commencement ceremonies. The rich tradition of
the outdoor ceremony was reinstated in May 2005.
Students who will be completing their degree
requirements in December 2008 are considered to
be part of the class of 2009. GCSU
invites those students to participate in the May
2009 Commencement Ceremony. The Office of
the Registrar will send information regarding
the May 2009 commencement approximately
six weeks before the ceremony. The
diplomas for those who have completed all degree
requirements by the end of the Fall 2008
semester will be mailed December 2008.
