You may order a copy of your transcript via
the web OR via fax or mail.
As a service to our students and alumni there
is no charge for transcripts.
Transcripts must be mailed (per student’s
written request) or picked up (with a picture ID) in
the Office of the Registrar, 107 Parks Hall
between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Unfortunately, due to confidentiality issues
we are unable to fax transcripts.
Transcripts will be mailed out within four
working days. However, please allow 2-3 weeks
during peak periods.No transcripts will
be issued if you have a financial obligation
to the university.
If your record is marked confidential you
MUST submit your request via the web or in writing
with your signature by fax or mail.
Currently enrolled students or students who have
attended since 1998, may use the secure website,
PAWS, to request transcripts.
Follow these instructions:
- Go to:
PAWS
- Select “Click Here to get to Paws”
- Select “Enter Secure Area
- Log on
- Select “Student and Financial Aid"
- Select “Student Records”
- Select “Request Printed Transcript”
- Follow the instructions for submitting
your request
NOTE: You may request
only 10 per session
on the web.
The following information is required:

- Complete Name (include any names you
may have attended under)
- Social Security Number
- Current Address
- Daytime phone number with area code
- E-mail address
- Dates of your last enrollment
- Any degrees you may have received from
GCSU
- Date of Birth
- Address to send the transcript
- How many copies being requested
- Signature (required)
