Casa Mondo Activities
Casa Mondo contributes culture, color, and culinary delights, among many, many other gifts to the GC student body tapestry. Closely aligned to the International Club that meets biweekly, students in the Casa Mondo community enjoy bringing the world to Milledgeville, Georgia.

The Annual International Dinner becomes a feast that requires shopping trips to specialty grocery stores and markets and commandeering a few well-supplied kitchens in the community for food preparation and not a little fun!
American holiday cookies pose no difficulty for these talented chefs and students from all over the world are exposed to some American holidays and food traditions.
Beyond food, Casa Mondo students are best known for story telling. They spend time with students from local schools examining the world map and providing glimpses into their respective cultures. In a way, Casa Mondo is a "reverse Peace Corps" where bright, compassionate people from the four corners of the earth join with their American student friends, most of whom are from Georgia, to broaden our understanding of global citizenship.
