Message from the President

The State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP) is the official workplace giving campaign for state employees and the University System. This year’s campaign runs from September 1 through November 17, and the theme is “State Change.  Pledge Today!”.   The SCCP gives us an opportunity to be an instrument of positive change by supporting health, human services, environmental, and educational charitable programs.  I give to SCCP because I believe the agencies supported by the campaign are making a difference in our community, our country, and around the world.

The SCCP invites every University System employee to take advantage of these opportunities by donating to any of the more than 1,350 charities available.  You have a real choice in where your donation goes.  Follow your passion or support a cause that resonates with you personally.  For as little as $1 per month, you can make a difference.  Now, more than ever, charities need our help.

To previous SCCP donors, thank you for your generosity. For new employees or first-time givers, thank you for your consideration and compassion. The efforts we make today help shape the future for those in need.  Please join me, our SCCP Agency Coordinators, Dr. Carrie Cook and Ms. Anna Lumpkin, and the entire Georgia College SCCP team in supporting the campaign and making this year even more successful.

If you are ready to give now, please visit  Dr. Cook and Ms. Lumpkin would like to remind you that this is a new system, and everyone will have to click “create account” to get started.  Our SSCP Agency Coordinators are happy to assist with any problems you encounter, please feel free to reach out to them if you experience issues with the process or would like to complete a paper form.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
