President Cody Allen

Cody Allen is a senior political science major from Lawrenceville, GA. He is a proud Eagle Scout, a state champion in both track and cross country, and brother of Delta Sigma Phi. Cody began his SGA career in 2009 when he was first elected to the Senate as a freshman. Prior to being elected as President, Cody served most notably in his role as Chairman of the Student Services committee where he worked to ensure that the Wellness and Recreation Center provided the services the students were promised.

In 2012, Cody was honored to be inducted into the National Leadership Honors Society Omicron Delta Kappa as a result of the work he has done on this campus. Cody’s diverse background in campus activities and organizations gives him insight into the many needs and opinions
expressed throughout campus. As a member of the University Senate, Mandatory Student Fee Committee, Student Activity Policy Committee, and various University Boards and Committees, Cody has and will continue to be a voice for the students in these various committees to ensure that every student at Georgia College has a voice. His proudest role was working with the Presidential Search Committee to ensure that Georgia College would have a new President who would carry on the Georgia College tradition of hard work and excellence. He is also a member of numerous campus organizations, as well as an inductee of several honor societies. Cody is honored to work for the betterment of Georgia College as he serves and promotes the student body as your 2012-2013 SGA President.

Goals for 2012-2013
