Parking and transportation
NOTE: Carole Harris, one of the conference presenters, is looking for someone to carpool with from the Atlanta airport. She should arrive April 13, at 1 p.m. She is also looking for a ride back to Atlanta (the train station in particular) or to Athens, April 17. Van Shuttle Service
Groome Shuttle offers van service from the Atlanta airport to its facility in Macon ($63 roundtrip). Please try to carpool with other conference attendees to the shuttle office in Macon. In case of emergency, contact bruce.gentry@gcsu.edu with the time you expect to arrive and the time of the returning shuttle.
You have several options for parking at Georgia College:
1. The corner of Liberty and Montgomery Streets
2. The North Clarke Street Parking (gravel lot)
3. The corner of Wilkinson and Montgomery Streets
Transportation Services
The GC Transportation Services, a unit of Auxiliary Services, provides routine shuttle service throughout the university. Routes transit Central Campus, West Campus and most remote parking lots on a daily basis. Full route operation is available weekdays from 7:15 a.m. - 5 p.m., after 5 p.m. a single route covering the entire campus runs until 11 p.m.
