Who are Peer Educators?
• P.A.W.S. is the Georgia College chapter of The BACCHUS Network, a national organization that focuses on college health and safety issues. (www.bacchusgamma.org)
• Peer Educators provide programming and disseminate information concerning alcohol, drugs, sexuality, nutrition, mental health, sleep, highway safety and other college health topics to their fellow college students.
• Peer Educators are role models who make healthy choices and encourage healthy and positive choices in the lives of others.

Membership requirements: The P.A.W.S. constitution and requirements for participation in the group can be found here (doc).
Each month Peer Educators participate in a variety of activities ranging from campaigns, information tables, events and other health promotion efforts. Students are required to attend two meetings per month and serve approximately ten hours per month in the group.
