Fraternity & Sorority Life
Dear Visitor,
Welcome to the home of Georgia College Fraternity & Sorority Life. The fraternal experience is one that can help shape not only an undergraduate career, but also one’s life. Founded on the core values of scholarship, leadership, service, and friendship, GC chapters engage in activities and programs that will further instill these values in their members. Our chapters regularly display these values through participation in volunteer service activities. Over 40% of all service hours reported through The GIVE Center are completed by fraternity and sorority members. Additionally, the all fraternity/sorority grade point average consistently exceeds that of the all undergraduate student population. Finally, students who engage in fraternity and sorority life are exposed to limitless leadership and educational opportunities. These opportunities range from local chapter and campus opportunities to regional and national development opportunities.
The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life staff is a team of professionals, graduate students, and undergraduate students who strive to provide the optimal service, direction, and education to all of the stakeholders in the fraternal movement. We partner with interested students, affiliated students, alumni, parents, campus offices, community offices, and chapter headquarters to build unity and harmony amongst the chapters. We offer guidance, advisement, educational programming, and additional resources to our stakeholders, to create a safe learning environment. We are ever reaching to achieve our mission of fostering an environment that prioritizes the development of character and individual accountability through shared values of scholarship, leadership, service, philanthropy, and friendship.
Please continue on to our website to view the resources for our stakeholders. We are glad you are here.
Sincerely,
Tyler Havens
Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life
