AlcoholEdu for College | Parent Instructions
As the parent or guardian of an incoming Georgia College student, your involvement in our alcohol-education program is encouraged and welcomed. AlcoholEdu for College is a course designed to educate students on the effects of alcohol. Georgia College, as well as hundreds of universities around the nation, requires this course in an effort to help students make well-informed decisions as they transition into college life.
Your student is required to complete the first part of AlcoholEdu for College before moving into the residence halls in August. Students will need a computer with internet access and sound capabilities to complete the course. If students do not have personal access to a computer, they may use computers at a local library, copy center, or community center.
We encourage you take the course and talk to your student about the information provided and how the information may be used in the future. The course will be open on July 10, 2013. (You will not be able to log in before this date.)
