Access to your e-mail is available at: Live.com.  Internet Explorer is the recommended browser.  Your user name is your full email address and new password.  Your e-mail password is no longer the same as your computer login. 

Live Scheduled Update Information

The Microsoft Live Support Team performs scheduled maintenance and upgrades to the system we use for faculty and staff email services. We have been notified that a service update has been scheduled to begin on January 13, 2012, and will take several weeks to complete. This scheduled service update will move our email accounts to an extended high availability architecture to provide greater resilience in the event of network failures. You may notice changes to server names in URLs and in configuration settings, but we are assured that our current URL names will be automatically redirected to the new servers. This basically means that you should not have any disruption in your email service. However, a very small percentage of mobile devices are not 100% compliant and may have to be reconfigured to connect to the upgraded system. Please contact the faculty/staff technical help desk (7378) if you experience problems with your email access. For those of you who prefer to manage the settings on your mobile devices on for your own, please refer to the Mobile Phone Setup Wizard for connection procedures, should you need them.

Our Serve Help Desk is the first contact for any technology related request or challenge.  Our skilled technicians will attempt to resolve issues with the first phone call.  Faculty and staff issues requiring an in-person visit will be handled as soon as possible.  Work orders are handled in the order received.  Priority is given to any request involving instruction or mission critical areas in order to help ensure services are maintained so students, faculty and staff of GC may effectively meet the goals of our student-centered learning community.
