Network Administration Services

The mission of Network Administration is to provide comprehensive management and technical support for the campus communications network.

The goals are:

• Provide design support for the campus wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Ensure the mission critical network facilities meet the on-going needs of the campus community.
• Provide management of the GC campus networking and data communications systems(GCNet and ResNet) along with supporting critical information links to other sites.
• Enforce access and security policies through the use of the Impulse Policy Gateway, firewalls, and routing tables.
