Chief Information Office Services
The Office of the Chief Information Officer provides oversight on the innovative, contemporary, and accessible technology to enable the students, faculty and staff to effectively meet the goals of a student-centered learning community. To accomplish this mission, all departments in the division of information technology work collaboratively with the campus community to provide technology leadership and support, which emphasizes empowerment of the individual.
Staff members provide information and resources for the departments within our division and campus departments. Services include budget, planning, inventory, technology purchase approvals, Information security and procedure and policies for the Division of Information Technology.
Our strategic technology planning focuses on investing in learning environments that help our students succeed and providing robust administrative systems that meet the missions of Georgia College and the University System of Georgia.
