Jimmy received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College (NYC, NY) and his Masters of Fine Arts in Playwriting at Georgia College (Milledgeville, GA). As an actor Jimmy worked with Tony Award winners Joe Mantello and Swoosie Kurtz, as well as Mo Gaffney and Julie Kavner in the Roundabout Theatre production of Paula Vogel's The Mineola Twins. Other acting credits include Minskoff Theatre (NYC), Syracuse Stage, Virginia Stage Company, The Producer’s Club (NYC), The Henlopen Theatre (Rehoboth Beach), Woodruff Arts Center (Atlanta), INTAR (NYC) and Orlando Fringe Festival. Film and TV credits include MGM, Aaron Spelling, The WB, Cell//7 Films, Cowan Films and the New York Film Academy. His play, The Volunteer Ottoman, was selected for the Ten for Tenn 2012 playwriting competition and was a finalist for the Centre Stage 2010 New Play Festival for his play Moving.
