Julie Mulvihill


Julie Mulvihill
Dance Instructor (2009)
Julie teaches dance and movement in the Department of Theatre at Georgia College.  She earned a MA in Dance Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she has also taught in both the Dance and Theatre departments.  Additionally, Julie has been on the faculties of Elon University, Peace College, and other dance and theatre programs in the southeast. She is a choreographer interested in collaboration and independently creating her own work.  Julie's work has been shown at the American Dance Festival, NC Dance Project, NC Dances, and Greensboro Fringe Festival; she has also shown work and performed with Even Exchange Dance Theater, Rainbow Dance Company, and with Crossover Movement Arts.  She has a teaching certification in Alexander Technique and is earning a PhD in Dance Theory and Practice from Texas Woman's University.  Julie loves working with community collaborators and other artists to create interesting conversations through movement.  Julie has taught all kinds of dance to all kinds of people.
