What degree programs are offered at the Georgia College @ Robins AFB location?

Master of Business Administration, Master of Public Administration, and the Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Are the Georgia College @ Robins AFB and the Milledgeville campus of Georgia College @ Robins AFB the same institution?

Yes. Programs at the Georgia College @ Robins AFB location are equivalent to the programs on the Milledgeville campus.
       
Where is Georgia College @ Robins AFB located?

Georgia College @ Robins AFB is located on Robins AFB in building 905. This building is on the southeast corner of the Robins Parkway and Ninth Street intersection.
       
Do you have to be a Robins AFB employee to take classes on base?

No. The programs are also open to non-base related, U.S. citizens. There are, however, base access restrictions that will be covered in a later question.

Are Georgia College @ Robins AFB students required to have a student ID card?

No. However, non-base related students will be issued a "base security pass" that will give them base access for the dates and times of their particular courses for a semester. Students must call our office at 478-327-7376 in order to be issued the necessary paperwork for a base pass. Students must bring their driver's license and social security card to be issued a pass by the base security officials. The student will then present the form to the base security officials at the service counter to complete their pass transaction. The pass will only be good for one semester at a time. It will be valid only for the day(s) of their course(s), and only for the block of time starting one hour before their course and ending one half hour after the scheduled conclusion of their course.
 
Are Georgia College @ Robins AFB students required to have a parking decal?

The security passes are only available to students who are actually registered for a course for any given semester. Unfortunately they cannot be given to prospective students who want to visit our office to seek information. In those cases we are able to communicate with the students using a combination of email, faxes, mail and/or the telephone.
       
Where do I get textbooks for classes at the Georgia College @ Robins AFB location?

The textbooks can be ordered online through the Georgia College @ Robins AFB Milledgeville, Box Office Books at the Textbooks ordering page. The bookstore phone number is 478-445-7305.
       
How often do classes meet?

Classes generally meet one night a week. There are no classes on Fridays or weekends.
       
Does Georgia College @ Robins AFB offer evening classes at the Robins AFB location?

Yes. Almost all Georgia College @ Robins AFB classes are offered Monday through Thursday beginning at 5:30 p.m.
       
Is there a computer lab for students to use?

Yes. It is located on the second floor of our building in room 247. It is open Monday - Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. during the nights that classes are in session.
       
Can Georgia College @ Robins AFB students use base facilities such as wellness center?

No. Non-base related students are only authorized to come directly to our facility for their classes. They are not allowed to use any other base facilities.

Can I apply for admissions at the Georgia College @ Robins AFB location?

Yes. You can contact us at 478-327-7376 or drop in at our building 905 office location to receive admissions application advice and assistance. We will subsequently send all admissions application paperwork to the Admissions office on the main campus for processing. You can also apply to our school online on the Applying to Georgia College page at our Graduate Admissions web site. Students have four options for paying fees:
- Online by credit card or by webcheck through the PAWS web site, then click the PAWS icon  paws icon and click "Enter Secure Area" on the next page.

Your ID number is your SSN or your GCID # without hyphens, and your default PIN number is your birthday: mmddyy (six digits without hyphens)

When does the semester begin/end?

Go to the University Academic Calendar on the Office of the Registrar's Web page and select the specific term you wish to enter.

When are final exams?

At the Georgia College @ Robins AFB location, final exams are normally given on the last night of class for any given semester.
       
When is registration?

When will grades be posted?

Grades are normally due from faculty within a few days after the last exam excluding weekends and holidays. As the instructors post their grades to the web, the grades are accessible to students by viewing their Georgia College @ Robins AFB Tranguide on the PAWS Web site. GPA and standing are normally available within 48 hours of the grade due date when grade processing is complete. To get a copy of the semester grade with the GPA and standing, access Final Grades once grade processing is complete.
