WRC Leadership Council

The WRC Leadership Council (WRCLC) is comprised of students who wish to fill volunteer leadership positions within the Women's Resource Center. In addition to the Coordinator, these students will serve as part of the "staff" of the WRC.  Students will be expected to attend the Fall Retreat as well as participate in weekly staff meetings and staffing the Women's Resource Center for 8-10 hours per week (Staff meetings count as staff hours). Students will also be expected to attend a minimum of five OIED/WRC events per semester (2 OIED, 3 WRC). Students will be required to complete a end of semester evaluation of events they attended and a written response about their experience on the Council. The hours you spend working on the  WRC Leadership Council can apply toward your experiential transcript.

The WRC Leadership Council is an essential component of the Women's Resource Center and their ideas and input are invaluable to the center.  Its success in fulfilling the philosophy of the WRC is two-fold.  First, staff allow the WRC to adequately serve the needs of women on campus and in the Milledgeville community.  Secondly, the program allows staff the opportunity to develop important leadership, community service, networking, and professional skills.
