Getting Involved
Why?
The Women's Resource Center is an exciting service that works toward gender equity on the GCSU campus. You will have the opportunity to develop your own talents and work with people who are energetic, fun and committed to making positive change.
What can I do?
There are many different ways to participate in WRC activities. You can attend any of our programs that are held throughout the school year. You can check out books from our resource library, learn about our referrals or socialize in the Women's Resource Center. Another way is to work in the Women's Resource Center on the Leadership Council. As part of the leadership council you will serve in one or more capacities. For more information about the Leadership Council please follow the link below.

Do I have to be a female student?
The WRC is open to everyone: students, staff, faculty and Milledgeville community members. Our prevention work serves to ensure that agents of the university do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other irrelevant non-bona fide qualification in the administration of educational and employment programs, or any other activity administered by the university. We believe everyone can offer unique talents and perspectives to the WRC, and we invite you to participate in any way that is fulfilling to you and accommodates your other commitments.
