Take Back the Night

Take Back the Night is an annual march and rally against sexual violence. Typically, Take Back the Night is held in early April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Take Back the Night events have been held in the United States since 1975, at Georgia College, Take Back the Night has been an annual event since 2006. 

This year's (2024) Take Back the Night will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 7 p.m. The event will happen in two parts - a march (that starts at the A&S Fountain and goes through downtown) and a survivor speak out at the Old Courthouse. Participants are encouraged to bring appropriate signs or posters to show their support.
