What better way to display your Bobcat Pride than by getting a Georgia College specialty tag? The GC tag raises money for the Georgia College & State University Foundation, which supports the university by generating private gifts for scholarships, academic programs, student activities and campus initiatives.
For each specialty tag on the road, $10 annually is contributed from the Georgia Department of Revenue and back to the Georgia College Foundation. Proceeds support student scholarships.
You can apply for a GC plate at your local tag office.
Note: As of November 2021, only current GC tags are allowed to be renewed and we do receive $10 for each renewal which goes to support student scholarships. We do plan to re-implement the new GC tag program in the future, so stay tuned if you're interested in one.
