Georgia College Theatre & Dance production of The Nutcracker

Dance Program for Children and Adults

The Department of Theatre and Dance offers a complete program of ballet, tap and jazz dance instruction for children and adults throughout the year. This is an ongoing dance program that meets on a monthly basis, culminating with performances of the program’s award winning show, "The Nutcracker," in December. The program is directed by Amelia Pelton and assisted by Natalie King, who both hold M.F.A. degrees in dance. Instructing along with them are accomplished Georgia College dance minor students.

There is a $20 registration fee per family, paid annually, due at the time of registration. Class fees vary based upon location as listed below and are due the first of each month. December and May courses will be charged at the full monthly rate. Individuals who register for two or more courses per month will pay full price for the first course, and will receive a $5 discount for each subsequent course. Likewise, each additional child from the same household receives a $5 discount per course, per month.

To make payments, please contact Courtney Bentley at 478-445-5277 in Georgia College’s Department of Continuing Education Department, visit the department at Chappell Hall in person or provide your instructor with payment at your location.
