A love of tuba sparks music scholarship

Katie Boss always had a resounding passion for the tuba. She aspires to be a professional musician someday. The Georgia College sophomore and her twin sister Libby discovered their love of playing musical instruments when they lived in Singapore.

A mother's wish turns into lifetime focus on education

Dr. Leslie Crawford beams when discussing education and rightly so. He’s quite accomplished in this area. Crawford co-authored children’s books, traveled across the globe to share his love of teaching with three-and four-year old students and faculty, was GC’s first faculty member to receive a Fulbright Scholarship and was dean of the John H. Lounsbury College of Education. You could say he’s taken every opportunity he could to learn just as his mother had wished.
